1. What CredPresto is
CredPresto is self-service software that helps you prepare, organize and mail disputes of information in your own consumer credit files. You are the author of every letter; the software formats and mails what you direct it to.
CredPresto is not a law firm, does not provide legal advice, and does not act as your attorney or advocate before any credit bureau, furnisher, or government agency.
2. Honest disputes only
By using CredPresto you affirm that you will only dispute information you genuinely believe to be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or unverifiable.
You may not use CredPresto to dispute information you know to be accurate, to file false identity-theft claims, to use a credit privacy number (CPN) or any substitute for your Social Security number, or to attempt 'credit sweeps' or file segregation. These are federal crimes. Accounts used for them will be closed.
3. No guaranteed outcomes
CredPresto does not and cannot guarantee any specific credit score increase, the deletion of any item, or any particular result from any dispute. Any estimate shown in the app is an illustration, not a promise.
Federal law gives you the right to dispute inaccurate information yourself, at no cost, directly with the credit bureaus. CredPresto is a convenience and organization tool, not a requirement.
4. Billing
CredPresto never charges advance fees before services are fully performed. Any paid plan is billed only after the corresponding mailing round has been sent, or monthly in arrears for software access already provided. You may cancel at any time and keep access to your documents and records.
5. Your data
Your identity documents, credit data and letters are stored privately and are accessible only to you. We do not sell your personal information. See the Privacy Policy for details.
6. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for recording bureau responses truthfully, and for the content of the letters you approve and send. The pre-send compliance review is a safety aid, not legal review.
